Hello, I'm Alex.
I lead product and brand design for early-stage teams who care about the small things other designers overlook. My work tends to live at the seam between systems and screen — the place where a product becomes a practice.
Before opening the studio I led systems work at Linear and the dashboard platform team at Stripe. I've also shipped hardware, service, and editorial projects with IDEO, Index Media, and a handful of small studios you have probably never heard of.
I work in long arcs. Most engagements last six to twelve months, start with a quiet week of reading, and end with a system the team can run without me.
