Folio Press.
A small CMS and a quiet brand for an independent publisher of long-form journalism.
Folio asked us to design a CMS that felt like writing on paper. The team had spent years fighting tools that treated their prose like a database row.
We rebuilt the editor around three surfaces: page, proof, and publish. Each does one thing and stays out of the way.
The brand sits in the same place — a small wordmark, a single accent, and a generous amount of paper.
A CMS should feel like a desk, not a control panel.
