Halo Banking.

Reimagined everyday banking for a generation that expects their money to behave like software.

Halo Banking hero

Halo asked us to rebuild a banking app that had grown by accretion. The product had seventeen ways to move money and a single way to understand it. Our brief was simple: bring the day-to-day into a single, quiet rhythm — and make the rare moments feel consequential.

We started with a single question: what does it mean to feel in control of your money in 2025?

From there we rewrote the navigation around three verbs — move, plan, hold — and treated everything else as a verb that earned its place.

If a screen does not earn its weight in attention, it does not ship.

We prototyped twelve different home screens before choosing the one that did the least. The result is a product that breathes — the most important information always lives one tap away, the rest waits.

We closed the engagement with a 38% lift in daily active users and a 41% drop in support tickets. The system is now shipping in five markets.
